A 17 year old boy, is a resident of a small village called Kawolongojo Namungo, busujju county Mityana district. He is struggling with a complicated condition yet to be known after the biopsy results, associated with a growing mass in his right chic.
When he was 10 years old, SEKATTE started to feel something in his right chic though painless. He reported it to his father who thought it was just a simple boil that could heal in just a week. Unfortunately, it just went on to grow big , bulge and start to displace/deform the surrounding body parts such as the eye, the nose and the mouth.
Emmanuel could nolonger feel comfortable to sit in class and attend the lessons with fellows. He is getting a very hard time when it comes to feeding as he can nolonger eat soluble/solid foods rather feeding on liquids only.
For seven 7 years now he has struggled with this condition without any help. His Father was displaced from his land by a rich man. They have been surviving on brick making from soil that they sell and get something to eat . His father cannot afford the cost of surgery from Kampala.
The doctors after doing several tests suggested an immediate surgery not later than 30th -sept – 2024 .
He needs a minimum of Uganda Shillings 15 millions (UGX 15,000,000) equivalent to USD 4,035
